Rebuilding Community

Hydraform has supported post-disaster recovery and rehabilitation programs by working with humanitarian agencies, governments, non-profits, social enterprises, and local communities.

Hydraform Building System has provided a sustainable solution for emergency shelters, transitional housing, and permanent reconstruction after disasters including the Odisha cyclone, Tamil Nadu and Sri Lanka tsunami, Gujarat earthquake, Barmer floods, and Leh flash floods. Through community training, on-site block production, and quality assurance systems, local people are empowered to rebuild their own homes and community infrastructure. Trained communities have constructed houses, schools, clinics, religious buildings, and community centres using a fast, simple, and cost-effective building approach.
