CARE Rehabilitation and Training – Sri Lanka
CARE International established a Rehabilitation and Resettlement Program in Sri Lanka to support communities affected by challenging circumstances. The Hydraform interlocking building block system and machinery formed an integral part of this initiative, providing a sustainable and practical construction solution.
As part of the program, trainers were provided with specialized training in the use of Hydraform technology, enabling local capacity building and knowledge transfer. A demonstration house was successfully constructed under highly constrained and difficult conditions, showcasing the adaptability, efficiency, and potential of the system for rehabilitation and housing development projects.
