A primary school in Tripura, Northeast India, was constructed using the Hydraform stabilized earth interlocking block system as part of a community-led education initiative. A Hydraform block-making machine was installed on-site, and villagers were trained to manufacture interlocking blocks using locally available soil and to participate in the construction process. The project demonstrates how sustainable building technology, combined with community participation and skill development, can deliver quality educational infrastructure while creating local capacity and ownership.
